BREAKING: Supreme Court Issues Ruling in US v Rahimi
The Supreme Court upheld the federal law banning gun ownership by those under domestic violence restraining orders this week.
It was an 8-1 ruling, with only Clarence Thomas dissenting. He wrote, “The Framers and ratifying public understood ‘that the right to keep and bear arms was essential to the preservation of liberty,’ Yet, in the interest of ensuring the Government can regulate one subset of society, today’s decision puts at risk the Second Amendment rights of many more.”
On the other hand, Chief Justice Roberts wrote this for the majority, “Since the Founding, the Nation’s firearm laws have included regulations to stop individuals who threaten physical harm to others from misusing firearms. As applied to the facts here, Section 922(g)(8) fits within this tradition.”
Democrats move to repeal federal law that forbids abortion materials in U.S. mail
Out of fear that a Trump win might see his administration use the 150 year old Comstock Act, Senator Tina Smith introduced a bill to repeal it. She says, “Republicans and anti-choice extremists want to misuse to ban abortion nationwide.”
The sections of that act banning abortion materials in the mail have not been enforced since the 70’s.
Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee said, “It’s quite astounding. Democrats in Congress must wake up every day wondering what else they can do to make it easier to end the lives of unborn children.”
Former NY Gov. Cuomo says Trump's hush money case should not have been brought forward
In a segment with Bill Maher, former governor Andrew Cuomo said, “The attorney general’s case in New York, frankly, should have never been brought. And if his name was not Donald Trump and if he wasn’t running for president… I’m the former AG of New York [and] I’m telling you that case would’ve never been brought.”
Who knew the Cuomo’s had some sense after all?
CCP Makes Nearly $9 Billion Annually From Medical Genocide, Lawyer Estimates
International human rights expert David Matas said that the CCP’s official figures for organ transplants were 10,000 organs a year, but his calculation produced a figure ten times larger.
“We did our own calculation of volumes by going to hospital websites and adding them up. The Chinese official figures were in total 10,000 organs a year, but our calculation was 100,000 a year,” he said. “That’s an awful lot of people.”
After two decades of research, he has found that the main source of organs was practitioners of Falun Gong.
RFK Jr. Falls Short in Bid to Join June 27 Presidential Debate
In rules created by CNN, RFK Jr failed to meet the threshold of a candidate’s name appearing on a sufficient number of state ballots to reach the 270 electoral vote threshold to win, by June 20.
He has filed a complaint, explaining that technically, until President Biden and former President Trump are formally nominated at the Democratic and Republican conventions this summer, they are “presumptive nominees” and not officially on the ballot either.
