After protest from Catholics, blasphemous potato chip ad ordered pulled in Italy
The Italian Association of Radio and Television Listeners called for an immediate suspension of the ad by Italian company Amica Chips, that “offends the religious sensitivity of millions of practicing Catholics.”
The ad shows an abbess filling a ciborium with potato chips instead of Eucharistic hosts prior to Mass, after which a priest distributes one of the potato chips to a nun during holy Communion. As the communicants are visibly surprised to discover the chips in place of hosts, the abbess looks on unconcernedly as she eats from the bag of crisps.
The ad has now been pulled, with no comment from Amica Chips.
Why does this story matter? Offenses against our Lord will not disappear. As long as they exist, we have to be ready to push back and as happened in this case, have them removed!
Chicago Man Shoots At Police. Corporate Media Blame The Cops
A 26-year-old black man in Chicago was killed following a shootout with police last month.
In the Washington Post story about this event, you have to read EIGHT paragraphs past the headline “Police fire 96 shots in 41 seconds, killing Black man during traffic stop,” before learning bodycam footage indicates Dexter Reed fired first, wounding an officer.
Other news outlets mirrored the misleading headline.

NYC Mayor Eric Adams is blaming Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for their migrant crisis after Abbott bussed about 37,000 of New York’s estimated 150,000 migrants to the “sanctuary city.”
However, Adams seems to be ignoring another culprit…Joe Biden.
A new report from the Center for Immigration Studies, finds that the Department of Homeland Security has secretly okayed the flights of some 33,000 illegal immigrants directly to the New York region from foreign airports.

In a new study from British pediatrician Dr. Hilary Cass confirms that children presenting with sudden onset gender dysphoria are actually suffering from other mental health diagnoses—not true gender dysphoria.
Her research reveals that children who think they are transgender disproportionately have mental health issues stemming from a difficult family situation or domestic abuse, and are often on the autism spectrum.
She recommends therapy, instead of irreversible “gender affirming care.”

As negotiations continue to hit dead ends, the latest report is that Israel offered a six week ceasefire in return for 40 of the 133 hostages they claim are still held in Gaza. Hamas claims they don’t have 40 hostages remaining to meet these demands.
