1) The opinions on this movie are flying…I haven’t seen it, and quite frankly I probably won’t because I just literally never watch tv or movies anymore. But I have to say, this is a pretty hot take. If men are leaving for Islam, they don’t know what Christianity is to begin with.
Although I do have to say…reading this from the producer does not give me a favorable impression of the goal of the movie.
2) Thomas Massie will forever be my favorite.
3) Case in point. Still my favorite. Did you know this??
4) Trump’s ego collides with the truth + Allie is wrong. More below.
I know this is a huge hang up for people. Just as a reminder, he didn’t make them mandatory. Would I love to see him acknowledge their harm? Of course. Do I think his ego will allow it? Never. Also…in this case, he’s right. Biden is taking credit for something he did, good or bad. Finally, this is NOT the biggest difference between RFK JR and Trump. It’s the one everyone is talking about. But please see this post to see other major issues with RFK JR.
I saw the Cabrini movie with my teen daughters and it was beautifully done and inspiring. My daughters really liked it. It was not “feminist” and it showed the really terrible things the immigrants went through, especially the Italian immigrants at that time. And how Mother Cabrini never took “no” for an answer and accomplished so much in her lifetime while being chronically ill. Highly recommend it. And I am sensitive to overtly feminist themes. This movie was not one of them.
