I saw the Cabrini movie with my teen daughters and it was beautifully done and inspiring. My daughters really liked it. It was not “feminist” and it showed the really terrible things the immigrants went through, especially the Italian immigrants at that time. And how Mother Cabrini never took “no” for an answer and accomplished so much in her lifetime while being chronically ill. Highly recommend it. And I am sensitive to overtly feminist themes. This movie was not one of them.

Your welcome! I rarely comment on substacks, but I felt compelled to say something. Because that movie was very uplifting and I rarely feel that way after watching a movie. And it was on my mind all weekend. I think the movie can appeal to the masses not just Catholics.
